March for Womens Lives

www.marchforwomen.org

Anyone going? I am!!!!!!!!!!
I am so excited. Just payed for my spot with my DD and MIL!
We will be traveling to DC and back in 48 hours. 24 of them will be on a bus!
I think this is going to be a pivital time for my DD who is 15. I can not imagine having had the opportunity for an experience like this to see millions of women standing up for themselves and the right to determine what happens to them.
Please no flames for this.......
I am strongly Pro Choice not pro abortion. To me it is a BIG difference, I am NOT looking to debate, or to start one.
Just sharing my excitement. Looking to see if anyone from here had thought about attending? We could meet up maybe!
Karen

Although the 3000 miles is stopping me from joining you I think it is a great idea to take your dd! This can be one of those long conversation weekends that she takes with her for a life time. And how wonderful that you can show her part of what you believe in when she is at the perfect age to understand it! Mothers like you are changing the world. One informed girl at a time!

Edited to say that in my own life experince (being pregnant at 17 with no family support) I had a hard choice to make, and I wish I had been more informed. I made the choice of life, and am glad for it, because I adore my son... but I would most likely be saying the same thing if I had made another chioce in my past. No flames from this Pro Family, Pro Children, Pro Choice mama!

Love Val
