I'm majoring in Dental Assistant and Investigative Sciences for Criminal justice concurrently. When will you Graduate (or hope to)?
I'll graduate from the Dental Assistant program in the summer of 2011. My second degree is to help fill time as I waited to be accepted to the program and as I continue on for my hygienist degree.

What are you taking this Semester? I'm taking Microbiology and Nutrition.

When does your Semester Start? 9/2 but our courses went live today and I'm already starting some work. But, for all 4 classes there really isn't much on the schedule for the 1st week and even the 2nd week in a couple of them. What are you taking this Semester? Educational Psychology, The Exceptional Individual, Elementary Statistics and Computer Applications (Office 2007 Professional) What is your area of study? Will get an AAS from UW Colleges Online and then transfer to UW Milwaukee for a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders When will you Graduate (or hope to)? It will be a while. I only have 33.75 credits going into this semester. Need 27 more for my AAS. It will take me 3 semesters most likely. So will transfer for maybe Spring 2011. Jonas doesn't go to school until Fall '12 so I don't know how much I will be able to get done. Hopefully I will be done with my bachelors in 2014 sometime
I'll get there someday. Depends on money too. I will most likely get a full financial aid package again next year but not the year after that. But it's only like 2800 for tuition for my 12 credits so we should be able to come up with that by then. I refuse to take out loans.

I had to do a double take as I read your classes and then got to "Dental Assistant". I stopped there and wondered what those classes had to do with teeth
When starting? it started last week
What taking? Principles of Finance, Principles of Management, Intermediate Accounting I, Business Communication, Foundations of Leadership (the single most asinine class I've ever taken)
Areas of study? Accounting and Mathematics (don't comment on the lack of math. I'm sure I'll get to it soon)
When graduating? God help me, it had better be May 2011. I won't last longer than that.

I'm getting a Master's in Educ. and secondary ed certification in math When will you Graduate (or hope to)?
I really don't know. I refuse to take out additional loans after this semester, so it will be up to the school to provide the assistantship it keeps promising--and then pushing back another semester. But that's another post. I'm taking things one semester at a time. And if finances fall apart at the end of this semester (which they may, since the class I was scheduled to teach in the spring has been pushed back to next fall) then I may pursue alternative avenues to the math credential and just work on the Master's.

I tried and I tried to respond to this in the other thread but every time I posted it wouldn't go through, so I'm trying again over here.
I did as well as I expected, but what I didn't expect was that because I am enrolled as a graduate student, none of my undergraduate level courses "count." They don't count when it comes to determining my status for registering for the next semester's classes (which is done by seniority) and they don't count in the G.P.A. They do, of course, count towards the credential--so basically, they count only to the math education department and not beyond it.
Therefore, my disappointing 3.0 actually counts as a 4.0 as far as the school is concerned. The C's I got in my math classes are basically dropped. This is actually very helpful as I made myself MISERABLE over the grades in the math classes. Now I get that the object of the game really is just to pass the classes. (Of course, it takes all I've got right now just to pass, so this doesn't represent any actual decrease in effort on my part--it just means maybe I won't CRY as much about getting C's.)
