Me too. I started back to school after 18 years and it has been a lot easier for me this time. I take it a lot more seriously this time around. I just wish I would have conquered it all back then since I have less time in a day at this point.

I see 4 that would be 100 level and look like fun! Introductions to Anthro, Religion, Women's Studies, and American Indian Studies. That Philosophy and Racism looks neat, too.

(I'm totally jealous, because I've maxed out all my humanities and elective stuff, and have a year's worth of business and senior level math)

Thank you so much!

I already picked and registered for my classes so now I just have to sit and wait until fall I suppose. I sure got on this far in advance eh?

I am taking The Exceptional Individual. and Educational Psychology. I'm VERY excited about the Exceptional Individual one. The course said it's great if you can bring real life experience into the class. Well having a nonverbal autistic child counts for that I guess!

I also am signed up for a 1 credit class for LEC 100. I guess it's good for returning students.

I'm taking Statistical Psychology through ALEKS so that will be an additional 3 credits for only 20.00. Hubby is urging me to take some CLEPS as well but I am nervous. I can take them for free. So I guess it's worth a shot...

Do you need Freshmen Composition? I have a CLEP study manual and CD I could send you if you can use them. It was really super easy to CLEP out of that class.

You're lucky you can take CLEPs for free! It was something like $80 for the one I took, but that's still cheaper than tuition and books for a class I didn't even feel like taking.

Thanks I took Eng 101... I assume that was comp? So I think I'm all set there at least!

And I only get to CLEP free because of hubby still being reserves. His letter of resignation is put in but it will take like 6mos to process. So he's bugging me about doing it while I can. He tests a LOT better than I do though so it's easy for him to say

You'll know better what you might want to CLEP once you have the transfer stuff sorted. My AP exam was counted at Eng 102 at my new school, so I had to CLEP Eng 101 - that had never been the case anywhere else.

It's not that stressful - even though CLEPs sound like they're STDs, they're usually just multiple choice tests on a computer. Like taking a goofy online quiz.

It's actually all posted, yay! I ended up with 33.66 credits :lol

DH did say I should CLEP speech. Since I HATE speech... I can't stand the thought of taking a speech class. He said that all he had to do was speak into a microphone. He actually failed it because of some stupidity on his part about not knowing what he was talking about haha. I forget exactly. He has gotten Instructor of the Year awards so it's kind of funny. So I'm going to look into that.

Crystal, are you sure you can do CLEPs for free b/c of reserves? Peter is still active duty so I checked into whether or not spouses can also CLEP for free and they say only the military person can. :-/

That's sooo cool you get to go back! I was so excited when I started too. It's good to have something you are doing for YOU, yk?
