I am paying thousands of freaking dollars to go to school. I cannot be successful if at every turn the school is putting up blocks. The freaking UMSL website is DOWN AGAIN. I cannot access my courses, my assignments, my email, contact my instructors. NOTHING. And exacerbating the problem is the fact that my instructor, who has had over a week to review and return my paper, has not done so. The final draft was due YESTERDAY, and I can't even work on it until I get it back from her. She has ever so graciously
granted those of us who haven't gotten them back yet an extension. However, class goes on. I still have all of my other work due in that class (as well as my psych class) this week. It's not really an extension, it's just piling more work on me. I needed to have completed that assignment so I can work on the new ones. And now, NOW, I can't even work on the current ones. I'm getting further and further behind because of the Flip-flapping University and it's employees. WTF am I paying these people for???
Am I over reacting? Should I expect, for my money, to actually be able to attend class on a regular basis. This is the THIRD TIME the entire UMSL server has been down. We are in the 5th freaking week of school.
