I won't start till summer semester, but I was over at the University today returning borrowed Calculus books and there were long lines of students waiting to get into classrooms for their first day of classes. Made me think of all of you who were stressing about starting back today. I hope it was ALL easier than you expected!

Mine was fine but mine are online. I got everything done for this week. Last term I was new to blackboard, but this term I am really familiar with it, so it saved me a lot of time. I am taking 4 classes again so spending the rest of the week "organizing".

classes start on campus for me tomorrow, but i'm taking MWF classes so mine actually begin on wednesday.
today i spent on campus doing orientation (as a returning student), getting my ID, getting the IT stuff worked out so i could register, actually registering, etc.
it was a full day and i'm really very tired tonight, mostly due to also having a chest cold during all of this. kind of hard to catch my breath and i spent a lot of time walking back and forth lugging a heavy pack in the cold air.
i'm really very excited about it though...my classes sound fascinating and i am really looking forward to the challenge. not sure how it'll all balance out but honestly? i'm not worried about any of it. i feel so calm about it all...i'm so proud of myself for actually getting out there and going back, finally.
Awesome on the homefront - I worried for nothing. Ivan ate food, and tons of it. He didn't miss me at all. Whew!
Not sure about my class though. I think my teachers kind of a loose cannon. And disorganized, I hate that. But its only 8 weeks, we're on the quarter system, so it'll all go really fast.

I don't start until the 20th but I got to see the syllabus for my writing class. It's going to kick my butt, lol. It's mostly research papers, which means lots of citations. Blech.
Psychology is a video class and I'm not worried at all about it. Piece of cake.
I also got loan paperwork in the mail today, which is good because it means I'll actually get that money. Should be by the end of the week actually. I hope, lol. And they adjusted my grant money to reflect the correct number of hours. I haven't heard anything about the TEACH grant but I'm assured I will before the start of classes.

mine are all online...so it was not much different than Sunday
BUT I discovered that 2 of my favorite professors are teaching 2 of my classes this semester....YAY!!! I loved them and learned so much from them the last time. I am more nervouse about the LSAT on Feb 7th!
Gwen... you reminded me. I am taking intro to the internet. Ha ha... lol dh was like "you are taking intro to the internet online, so what, do you log in to your class and it says, congrats, you made it to the internet, A for you!"
Ha ha, yes, I was looking for easy classes to finish up with.
Anyhow, I saw that one focus of the class is learning how to do internet citations for papers correctly and I was excited to see that, I always really struggle with those since when I took English we still went to the library for all our references
