ugh. Dunno what to believe anymore.

I think ALL religions are right but are wrong on some points too. Anyone else flailing around, grasping for the Truth? This sucks!

I've been there for a really long time. I was raised Catholic did all my sacrements (except marriage) I believe in a lot of the ideology of Catholicism but not all of it. I also believe in a lot of Earth based religion but again not all of it. Its so hard to be here... and it kind of makes me feel (not sure if you do too) like I don't have a real identity because I don't know the answers and I don't have a real niche in the spiritual world.

Maybe its because I was raised so very "one way" religious, but, at this point, I just don't feel like I need to find any religious truth.

It is comforting and freeing to simply understand that I don't have to "know" anything.

Again, that may be backlash from growing up in a world where I thought I knew and understood everything in regards to God, religion, etc.

I've stopped taking the beliefnet quiz, because I can't help but answer every question with "don't know, doesn't matter", lol.

edited to add: Sorry if this response doesn't help you. LOL, I'm reading it again, and hoping it doesn't sound preachy! I totally respect you in your journey to find truth. I'm just saying that for myself, it is nice to just let all of it go.

No, thanks for sharing! Maybe you're right, I don't have to "know" anything. It has been a heavy burden for me to carry the past few years.

I was raised in a Christian home and non-Christians were regarded as ignorant of the Truth or misguided, and going to Hell if they didn't convert to Christianity. That is so unkind. I don't want to be in that place ever again.

I think that to have any discussion like this the terms have to be defined. So what is your definition of socialism? Oh and you take all the "fun" out of it by putting the ETA perimeters on the discussion. (I hope you know I am just kidding.)
