spiritual discussionsThis is the place at AW for mamas to learn about all different religions and beliefs, to ask questions, to give answers- all done with respect! if you don't have anything nice to say here- don't say anything at all.
Is that were you attended? Sophie has homeschool co-op stuff there once a month and honestly it's refreshingly inviting and peaceful there. The big ole rainbow sticker on the door, the statements of respecting all. So what was the actual service like? My friends go there but I don't want to feel pressured into going by asking them about it. Does that make sense?

makes total sense, I totally had to do it on my own - I didn't tell anyone until I was read to walk out the door (my husband nearly had a coronary when I said I was going to church), next week I will probably take the children. I was really comfortable, but I was really nervous - I mean all covered in tattoos and piercings i wasn't sure how they would react to me. But everyone was so nice (but not in that Stepford wives way) and the service was also nice. No altar call or pressure to stand up and introduce yourself.
Wow! I am happy for you and, well, amazed. Honestly, I have tears in my eyes (which is not unusual for me today, but still....)

And that's how church should be. I'm glad you felt as comfortable as possible.
