Bible study question

A friend and I have started meeting in the mornings to walk/jog together. She asked me today if I'd be interested in incorporating a Bible study (not every day) a half-hour before we start. This is a great opportunity for me, and I'm anxious to get started.
But where to start?
We are both adults, long-time Christians, but kind of luke-warm-ish right now. By that, I mean that although we both love Jesus we have let the busy-ness of life get between us and the relationship that I know we're both called to have with Him. Other than that, I'm married w/ kids, she's single w/ a nearly-grown daughter.
Any suggestions on a study that we could do together?
Thank you!
Gretchen

I really liked Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby - it is a great book to challenge you to a deeper faith.

Many people like Beth Moore, but I have gotten the impression (from what have read) she is heavy on the idea that God gives us cancer and car wrecks to teach us lessons, and I can't get on board with that, so I have a hard time further exploring anything she has written.

I was going to suggest Experiencing God too. We did it a few years ago in Ladies' Bible Class and it was great.

How about Kay Arthur? She has some really awesome, easy to do, down to earth studies.

I also like the Battlefield of the Mind study. (Joyce Meyer) I like Cynthia Heald. Kay Arthur. I also like the LifeChange Bible study series. (on all the books in the Bible)

You can always choose a book of the Bible to start with and have commentaries and a good Bible dictionary and study a chapter in-depth and discuss each time.

I think this is great! I love Bible Studies. Remember to start and finish each study in prayer.

last night at a clothing swap I picked up "Becoming a Woman of Influence" by Carol Kent - I have only made it through a bit, but it looks pretty awesome and there is a bible study outline in the back that looks great!
