Articles on sex in marriage?
I remember reading on here a year or more ago about a website or collection of articles written from a spiritual perspective.
I know my sex drive needs work, and I truly feel that it's mainly from guilt I felt growing up knowing sex was bad bad bad when I was a teenager because I wasn't married. Now I've been married 10 years and still can't get it on without feeling awful. I know we're allowed now and that God created sex for our joy, etc. I know all that logically, but emotionally I'm obviously still not there. Truly, I think I need some kind of sex therapy. Or maybe a good book recommendation? I don't know.
I'll want to do it, then when we're starting, I pull away from kisses, cringe at touches, etc. It's awful and not fair to Dave. He said last night, "My only chance to have sex (because we waited for marriage) and my wife hates it." That makes me sad. I don't hate it. I want to do it, but I feel like I can't. I don't enjoy it. It sucks. I can't relax at all.
Anyway, I think I need some reverse brainwashing or something. And when I google it I'm not coming up with anything. Thanks for any guidance.
