just curious. what time do you go to church/services?

We go to a 10:45 service at this new church we've been attending. The old church was 10:30. I guess most places do their "contemporary" service in the later morning and the more traditional in the early morning

So I was just curious. What time do you go to church?

Our church starts at 10 am. We're Pentecostal so contemporary *is* traditional for us. lol!

We have a 9am and a 10:30am service. They are both the same type of service, contemporary. I usually work in the preschool for the 10:30 so I try to go to church at 9am.

whenever we wake up? heehee

Our church has 5 masses every Sunday, and one Saturday evening, so we almost never go to the same one twice. It's whatever fits into our weekend.

We just found out about a new Catholic service at our UU church, that is at 6PM on Sundays. That'll be different! We're gonna try it sometime, the next time we're actually home on a Sunday! (which I think, will be August!)

We go to a 9am service at our synagogue. The latest in our neighborhood. Maybe two other places offer 9am services. Our synagogue also offers a 7am service for those who want to be done early.

I generally go to 10:30 Mass. There is an 8am and a 5pm on Sat as well, but we are usually busy Sat and 8am is just a tad too early for me. The 10:30 is always packed though and 8am is maybe 2/3rd full from the times I've gone. I wish they would switch to 9 and 11 to even the crowd out.

Our worship starts at 10:30

Sunday School is at 9:30

Dh is part fo the band so his day starts at 8:30 and if I am on worship team that month I start at 8:30 as well.

We dont have a regular Wed night service. They have a potluck at 5:30 with prayer meeting at 6:30 to follow. The children go to their classes and youth group at that time.
I usually dont do the Wed night thing...I actually enjoy being home with only Olivia. Sometimes dh and I only have that time to fool around too...lol

We attend a group studies thang on Friday evenings at 5pm (until about 8pm) This is in a home enviroment, not a building..so we are not inclined to finish and get going LOL. We enjoy reading, singing, discussing for hours. The wife and I usually also end up out on the porch for another hour (Atleast) discussing even more once we get home.

I also rise every morning by 5am (at the lastest..usually closer to 4) Make coffee and go to the porch with books, notebook, pen, and my thoughts..and do my own 'worship service'.

The weeone and I do nature work and such about 3 days a week and discussion. As well as she has her books and full use of my library of books/internet to look up facts and opinions on religion, sprituality, and paths.

The weeone and I do ritual work atleast 1 time a month together and that is done first thing in the morning, when she rises at about 6:30am.

We incorporate study/worship/adoration in most everyday in one way or another.

Happiest Thoughts!!

Church is 9:30, Sunday School follows at 11. I almost always save preparations for Sunday school until Sun am, so we go over (all the way across the parking lot ) at 9ish. It's a "work day" for DH, he goes to the office by 8 most sunday mornings.

Sunday we go to the 10:30am service. Praise and Worship

There is also a 8:30 service. Dh goes sometimes if they are video taping, to get things set up or if he needs to do sound.

Wed night is at 7pm.

Thur night is praise and worship practice at 7pm.... just for people doing sound or singing on platform, to get ready for Sunday services.

Friday 6pm-12am is youth hang out/get together ... we go to visit/watch the teens. (junior high is 6-8 and high school/collage can stay till midnight)
