Did ja stay home, go to another church or go to the old church. How do you feel? Is the family doin ok?

thanks so much for asking KR. We actually chose to take the day off. We slept in, ate a big breakfast. I did some thrift store retail therapy, dh worked on the patio some more. Then we had friends over for a swim. It was a nice day.

In the meanwhile I am dealing with tons of emails from friends at church. Some just saying goodbye (and not wanting details) others asking to know what exactly is going on. Some phone calls too - meeting with one couple here tonight to pray and talk more.

Next Sunday we will be joining 2 other couples who've left the church in attendance at a Lutheran church nearby to check that out. the following week the Calvary church - we have quite a few churches to check out.

But i'm doing ok. Praying alot

Barb I am glad that you took this Sunday to think, relax and do something theraputic. I am sorry that you are going through this. *hugs*

Barb, I thought about you and your family yesterday. I hope you can enjoy the time to visit some churches and will find one that suits you and your family.

thanks mamas. The kids are doing ok. Chelsey is still going to go to the CHIC conference I think - she worked too hard (and honestly so did I) to pay for her slot and its about her and God so she'll go. That'll be her closure too with the youth ministry at this church.
zoey is actually excited about trying new churches. She's my little pastor tho - the child is so wise honestly and so in tune with her own relationship with Jesus.
We're going to pray tonight with some other folks and I just know that God is guiding us to a new place.
We'll be ok as long as we keep our hearts open to where He wants us to go ya kwim?
