spiritual discussionsThis is the place at AW for mamas to learn about all different religions and beliefs, to ask questions, to give answers- all done with respect! if you don't have anything nice to say here- don't say anything at all.
Oooh, I loved this book too So cool to hear so many other mamas that enjoyed it!
Margaret George also wrote a book about her, Mary, Called Magdelene ... it's huge, but a great read. She also wrote a book on Cleopatra that I found totally enthralling. Oooh, I just looked her up on Amazon and see that she has a new one on Helen of Troy! Off to request it from the library *lol*
I read Mary, Called Magdelene last year when I went through my phases of Templar Knights, then Mary Magdelene, and then had no other Christian subjects that interested me. LOL.
I just finished the Cleopatra novel and yes, that puppy is HUGE!! It was really good though and I loved it! Before that I read Mary, Queen of Scotland and Elisabeth I by her. Both were equally good but Cleopatra is my favorite.

Thanks Nancy I will have to check out Zipporah. The Moon Under Her Feet, The Red Tent, and Sarah are some of my favorite books. The Red Tent I read straight through, I stayed up all night.
