just wondering. I wonderful mama has made chelsey and i messianic symbols to wear- a star of david with a cross inside of it. I have a 14K gold pin with that symbol that i wear to church and big occasions. I had cross earrings and lost one, but still wear the other in my second hole in my left ear.
but i don't wear a cross around my neck, i wear the ruby/diamond heart dh gave me years ago at christmas. I bought him (for his bday) a hematite cross on a black leather cord that he wears as a choker
anyway, do you wear a cross? pendant? earrings?pin?

I have two necklaces with crosses. One is a gold teardrop with a cross cut out of the middle. Dh gave that to me for our first anniversary. The other is a silver cross given to me by my MIL for my birthday a few years ago. I go through stages of wearing the teardrop one alot, and I only wear the silver one on a rare occasion. They both mean alot to me, but as I don't wear alot of jewelry, I don't wear them all the time.
My dh had a beautiful cross made for me, a feminine version of a cross he bought in Peru. I wore it for a long time, on a thick chain. I stopped wearing it when I sprouted skin tags and moles all ove rmy neck - the chain kept catching them - ouch!
We're not encouraged to wear jewelry at work, so I limit myself to my wedding band, a watch, and occasionally a small bracelet.

I have a very small chain/choker with an icthus soddered (sp?)to the chain on either end on it...about the size of my pinkie fingernail...it's broken now but I've worn that off and on for 15 years. I haven't really found anything else that I like.

I have 2 crosses that I wear occasionally. I have 1 that is made of small crystals that was given to me by my Grandmother and 1 that is a Black Hills Gold necklace that dh gave me last year for Christmas. I go thru periods of wearing them. But since I have 4 children and I work at a job wear I clean part-time, I generally only wear them for nice occasions.
oops, sorry...I'm really bad about fly-by posting and never returning to check
yep, it's the Jesus fish. In fact I went looking after I posted this and I found it...there's nothing wrong with it...I think I took it off to wear a silver brighton necklace and forgot about it.
I don't wear a lot of Jewelry, but I do have a beautiful gold cross that was a gift to me during the blessing ceremony we did 3 days after I delivered my surrogate baby.
We had climbed up this beautiful hillside in Rocky mountain National Park (uh yeah, 3 days after birth! LOL!), there were wild flowers everywhere,,we had worked for months on this ceremony, my pastor was supposed to accompany us to do part of it but last minute couldn't, so it was just me, the IP's and the baby God made...It was so beautiful, memorable, and I have some amazing pictures we took with Longs Peak in the background.
I don't wear jewelry often, except my tiny nose stud, so I only wear it on special occasions,,but it is special beyond words...
(He is 5, will be 6 this summer, and in March they are coming to visit (we get together each year, because we are just such great friends,,the baby is coincidental), and we are telling him his story! Pray for me mama's!)
