You know I'm here - I'm in fairly North phoenix... up by the Paradise Valley Mall area.

Priscilla, dh and I would LOVE to move up by you when the kids are grown - part of our master plan lol. STacey I posted back to you on the dork thread bout hooking up. I can't handle the zoo for another month or so , but maybe we can do something indoors downtown? would love to get together

Yeah, I think it's slightly cooler up here

We were hitting the 100's a couple of weeks ago, and I was dying. Don't know how you guys do it down there.

Barb, I can picture us still being around in 16/17 years! Maybe we can hook up then!!

If we had a more reliable vehicle we would make more trips to Phoenix. I'd love to take the kids to the water park sometime.

nods - thats why we only go up north now about once a year - til I get my van fixed its a huge deal to go up to his brothers in Cornville for Thanksgiving once a year.

But we go up there and every year we say - some day we'll move north. When we can wrangle my kids away from their grandparents. lol

I grew up walking distance from PV mall. My mom just sold the house i grew up in... sad huh?? LOL

Im over in what used to be the north west valley LOL before surprise and all. I am between metro center and arrowhead malls. too bad for hubby for us being so close to malls

Actaully the house was in foreclousre, ( becaseu my mom in her 40s hasnt yet figured out that you need to PAY bills. LOL) She sold it to an investor, and I think she made out good considering the condition. The housewent downhill after my parents split 6 years ago. My sis lived there with her family, then my dad moved back in, then he left adn my mom moved in then she left and my brother and his then girlfriend now wife, moved in..... And NO ONE took care of the place. I bet the investor madea pretty penny though...

( excuse my long tired posts. LOL I just got home from my mergency dental appt and the drugs are gettign to me LOL)

I'm let my zoo membership expire but am going to get a new one october 1 since its finally cooling off enough to go.

up for a zoo meetup trip?

I wish! Maybe when we get the two remaining crap tires replaced on the car. Dh keeps wanting to head down on the motorcycle (just the two of us), but I'd hate to leave the kids out if we met up with you guys!

I'll keep it in mind though...they would be so thrilled to take a day trip!
