storage places in the NW metroatl GA area?

we are going to be moving a bunch of stuff into storage so we can start showing the house and need some recommendations of good places

have you used a storage place? if so, what did you like and what did you dislike? about what size did you need? how long did you store there? and about how much did you pay?

We are getting our house ready, too and I looked into storage. It was so expensive. We would have basically been able to get a space the size of a closet for around $70 (or more?) a month. We needed to empty multiple closets and clear out lots of clutter, so I figure we would have ended up paying over $100/mo.

So we are committing one side of our garage for the junk. We figure anyone buying the house would know what a garage looks like, but with the junk there, they can at least see into the closets and such. DH has done a bang up job stacking boxes so he is fitting a ton in there and it doesnt look too bad.

Anyway, sorry I cant offer real help, but I have BTDT and was surprised at the high costs of those places.

have you thought about those companies that bring storage units to your house - like big boxes - and you fill them up and they come and put them on a truck and take them to their gigantic climate controlled facility...?

i can't think of the name of that company! crap!! lol
