is this the right forum for DC metro?
I don't see D.C. on the list--but I'm in Maryland, so it seems like the proper place. Anyone else near the Beltway?

I'm in Laurel, just off of 95 and 216. Where are you?

That's funny--I'm in Clinton, MD, now, but I used to live in Laurel, in an apartment on Main Street.

Ah, Main St...
My drive towards Rt. 1 isn't complete without seeing the cow outside the meat market!

I love that cow. But it's not the same since Greyhound Books closed. That used to be my favorite local used book shop.

There've got to be more mamas around there, don't you all think? Anyways, this caught my eye because we're trying to sign a lease today in Arlington. Not even any gov't folks passing through, not to mention oldtimers? It's a neat area, if a bit schizophrenic between old neighborhoods and new highrises. And the housing prices - terrifying.

Oh, yeah--the prices are absurd. We just bought a house in suburban MD, and it's unbelievable how much it cost. Outrageous.
