dentist The UNthemed theme swap. *CLOSED* Ship Jan. 2

Title of Swap: The UNthemed Themed Swap
Swap Hostess: Tuesday
Sign-up date range: Through Dec. 10
Ship by Date: Jan. 2, 2007

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): No, but larger sign ups will be divided into even, smaller groups @ 5-7 participants

Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has posted at least 100 times
- Does not have any negative feedback on the sewing swap forum

Details of swap:

The theme of this swap is UNthemed. That's right...there is no theme. This swap gives you creative freedom to send whatever your heart desires...no limits (just keep in mind we all have kids in the house LOL)

In this swap you will make multiples of one item, send them to me, the hostess for division and packaging of groups.

This swap is limited to HAND MADE items.

This swap is NOT LIMITED to sewn items...can be crochet, knit, crafts, cards, etc.

There are various swaps all over the boards for the holiday season, lets keep this secular (especially since the due date is after Christmas ..)

Also, some of us live in different countries, so let's avoid nationalistic items too. ROFL

Other than that...let's have a BLAST!!! Show your creative side. This is a GREAT swap for beginners that want to attempt something at their own comfort level.

**The dollar value for the items should be around 7 to 10 dollars.

PLEASE READ THE GUIDELINES FIRST for participation restrictions.

I will assign groups upon my return from vacation

If you want to participate, information to send to the hostess:

Name of swap:
Amity username:
Email address:
Full name or business name (For shipping swap items):
Mailing address
ADD OTHER SWAP SPECIFIC QUESTIONS HERE...

REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO THE SWAP HOSTESS THROUGH A PM AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Guidelines Sticky to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

************************************************** ********

Swappers:

1. Tuesday
2. ChasingChe/Sandra
3. Soggy Granola/Gwen

Me, but I'd like to specify that the things I'll probably make would be baby-related. So maybe we could have a swap group of 5-7 who could do baby items?

If that doesn't make sense or won't work LMK and I'll try to come up with something else

Well, how about if we start another swap instead? LOL...we do good to get 5-7 swappers at all, it may be easier to organize another swap? Same idea, but baby stuff? Would you want to host it?

sure - maybe after this one wraps up.

That's a really good point. Okay - I'm still in. I just need to get some inspiration on what to create for my pals

Link me, if you have some ideas!! You always come up with the most clever things!

I'm in. I have the items already made up. But, is there a value here?

Oh, good thinking...I always tend to stick to a 7 to 10 dollar price tag in my head, but rarely think to put it in there ROFL

I was thinking, mama, household, car, decor, etc...but children would be okay if we can think of things that are gender and age neutral...Maybe nature table items?

This sounds like lots of fun, but even more than a month away with the ship date is too overwhelming for me. Maybe next time!

Is this a swap where you make one thing for one person or a swap where you have to make many things? I couldn't tell from the info.

In this one, we're going to make manycopies of our item and then send to the hostess (me) and then I'll divide them into groups.

Shall I add you to the list? <eyebrow wiggle> lol

ah but my coffee is just now getting into my bloodstream. I swear I read it lol.

Nah, I don't do multiple-item swaps anymore. It's bad enough I have to do the mini assembly line thing for my biz.
