Sewing mamas!Calling all AmityMama's who like to sew! Do you make quilts, clothes, diapers, bags? Do you love to run your fingers through fiber? Can't get enough just sewing, but want to talk about it too? Come on in!
So, I looked up an old thread here re: lining hoodies..It was a BIG help. Sewing Mama Forums
Also, I sewed my first curved raglan.
The pink Otobre hoodie tunic..well I guess the darn hood is not very generous. grr...but I love the combo of the fabrics. Aidra LOVEs her outfit~and she really loves the front pocket. Yes, the sleeves and leggings are long..but she barely agreed to let me hem them that short...lol!
Leah's is a Kwik sew..same as the sig. The hood is nice and generous on her adult sized noggin. Pants are Kwik sew...
And...
I DID NOT USE THE SEAM RIPPER ONCE! NOT ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!
Velour all the way, baby.

Oh, those look so cozy!!! and your girls are absolutely adorable. My son likes longer sleeves too - Dharma doesn't sell any sweatshirts between size 12 child and Small adult, and he *swims* in the Smalls.
Oh yummy. I love velour. I'm starting my school clothes/Fall sewing plans right now and its cool in the evenings year round so winter sewing is on my mind. Guess I better order some velour.
