Quilt question

I'm making a quilt that is 52" square. I only have one week to finish it, but that's another story, LOL.

My question is on the backing. My fabric is 44". Should I

a. do 4 26" squares
b. 2 26x52" rectangles
c. 3 strips, approx. 17, 18, 17

TIA!

I would go for the 2 stips. My idea is to keep it as simple as possible.

In the interest of keeping it simple and your time constraint, I agree that 3 strips would be your best bet.
