Dress and raglan tee SnS

Same dress as the one pictured here.... you know, the one that I made in the newborn size that was waaaaaaaay too big. Well after I made it (for Charlie), Phoebe came up and *insisted* that it was for her instead. I let her put it on, thinking it would be too small so I could say, "See, it doesn't fit! It's for Charlie.", but lo and behold, it fit her. A NEWBORN SIZE! *sigh* At least it fits one of them, .

She got it dirty within seconds of putting it on, so I guess it's a good thing it fits her.

The expression on her face in this pic cracks me up:

I was on a roll, so I made a raglan tee from a KS pattern, and even though it was the smallest size, and I shortened it by an inch, it's a little too big for Phoebe. I feel pretty good about it, though, and at least she can grow into it.

TFL!

Is that the McCalls pattern? I made the McCalls one when Em was a infant..newborn sized and it fit her last year when she was 2!

Cute dress. I like the raglan top also. THe print is darling.

For some reason I thought it was a Simplicity pattern, but you're right, it's McCall's 8574 (aka: sizes for giant, huge babies that don't exist in real life).

I only have the one KS pattern, and I yearn and long and fervently wish for more!

Thanks for all the nice compliments!

Very cute stuff! I really like the print and solid together on that raglan T.

I love KS patterns too! You can get them for much less than retail at this coop:
