So excited how this turned out, except that it was a Simplicity pattern (iirc), so I made the newborn size, and it can easily fit my 6 month old. It's knit that I got in a co-op, and I used FOE at the neck, and twin needled the hem and sleeves. I showed it to several people who thought that I had bought it as a baby gift ~ the ultimate compliment, LOL.
My ex-h just had a baby, and I wanted Marissa (our daughter together) to have something to give to her new baby sister.
