Where can I find bias tape that is soft and stretchy?
Like the kind used on gymboree blankets - or Carter's blankets that are two layers of jersey?
I'd love to find some that has the scalloped trim made out of matching fabric, but I need something super soft DESPERATELY!
That's not bias tape, it's the same knit, just cut in a width to make a binding. If you are making blankets, you would just cut a bit wider than 4 times as wide as you want the finished binding to be, fold in half, iron the fold, then fold in the edges and iron again. Then just sew on as you would bias tape.

nope - this stuff is different. It's like a trim with a fancy edge. I know I can try to make my own, but I could never do it, trust me
I know what you mean, the scalloped edge with decorative thick thread? It's done after the binding is put on, I am guessing it is done with a serger type machine. I don't think you'll find it to buy, I've never seen this anywhere to buy.

Kind of. I'm wondering if it's just not called what I'm calling it.
I need to research trims. I hate the look of regular woven bias tape, but I know there is a better way than making it myself.
The trim I have on this outfit in front of me looks like it's all one piece and it's a different fabric than the outfit. - not just a different color, but a totally different binding.
I'm so bummed - I've looked everywhere. There has to be a foldover trim of some sort that would work...like what about what they use on Gymboree tees? Some sort of elastic - like lingerie elastic?
I really think it sounds like you might mean a narrow (like 1/2") matte finish fold-over elastic. I do have a few different ones - if you want, I can send you some to try out. (free) Just let me know how much you think you'd need to do a neckline or whatever and pm me your address. I have a few different colors.
Otherwise - check out this link to see if this might be something like what you want:

good deal - I'm especially looking for baby-ish, gender-neutral colors. I'd love sage green, but maybe a pale yellow or even off-white.
These are the colors that I have. The green, peach, and a dark purple one are a matte - the others have a shine to them but the backs are more matte and can be used that way too. I may also have a white that is around this width too. Just LMK if you want to try some - like I said, I'll just give you some if you let me know about how much you need & which colors. Brenda

That one that's third down on the right - that looks perfect!
And is that one on the left actually different shades of pink? I think I need that, too

How much per yard?
How much do you think you need? I was just going to give you some to try it out and see if you like it!! It wasn't really very much - I think like around .40 a yard when I bought it.
I can give you a couple yards of each if you want them - just let me know. (Might not be on tomorrow because we're going to be gone most of the day / evening.)
