Great serger for the money! Many features that you usually only find on more expensive sergers...such as free arm, knife disengage, and the ability to switch to rolled hem without changing the plate. This serger is also heavy duty enough for diapers. I have the precursor model (929D) and it has been a real workhorse. I recently bought a 1034D to replace my 929D which I've had for 5 or 6 years (heavy duty sewing during all that time) and now I plan to keep the 929 as my backup.

I have one. I've had it about a year. Haven't had a problem with it yet.

I have one, purchased from a mama here who got it on clearance at WW. I love it and haven't had one problem with it. It has done a lot of hard work for me and it just keeps going. I also love the fact that I can use regular sewing machine needles on it, the ease of threading, and the free arm. Switching from diff stitch to diff stitch is easy peasy!

HTH,
Trish
