I haven't sewn much this month, but here is one outfit I made for Maggie. It's a recycling job. This shirt and leggings were made out of one of dh's long-sleeved t-shirts he was going to throw out. The shirt was special because it had been a Father's Day gift. It was made by arasmama of
Harmony Threads of black hemp jersey, with the Kanji symbol for "father" embroidered on the front. Unfortunately the shirt shrunk terribly and dh couldn't/wouldn't wear it. So when he wanted to throw it out, I had a better idea. I cut it up and made it into the following outfit for Maggie, using Sulky UltraTwist red and black thread for the coverstitching. I think it's appropriate since she's such a Daddy's girl. Plus I just think it looks cool!
I wish I had snapped a picture of the the t-shirt before, but I didn't think of it. It was just a typical long-sleeved t-shirt, with the embroidery over the left chest. The leggings are made from the shirt's sleeves.
