A shy fleece pjs sns *added pic of second set in op*

I found a box of fabric in the water heater closet that I left there last year and forgot about
There was this bunny fleece I got from Faith and some left over yellow fleece so I decided to make some pjs for Vidura.

He's got a weird size/body so most rtw pjs don't fit him right.

These are my first and I have low self esteem, so please don't be too hard on me

I used the main pattern from the KS for toddler and modified the collar, width and rise of the pants.

Second set actually came out a lot nicer than the first, so I still have hope that eventually I'll make a nice one, hehe.

I think they look great. And he looks very happy with them. And he might be able to wear them next year too. If his legs go through a sudden growth spurt you could add a band of the yellow fleece to the bottom as a cuff to extend their 'wearable time'. He may not have short legs forever... you never know.

IME when I make something out of fleece that was not a 'for fleece' pattern it always came out a bit different fitting.

I have the flannel pants I made for him yesterday still sitting here. I haven't had the energy to do anything today.

He looks super comfy! They turned out really nice. And I agree with the Duck, fleece used for patterns that aren't for fleece always fits a little differently. (Of course I'm currently angry at fleece since I'm neck deep in fleece socks lol.) You did a fabulous job

i think they look great! i just bought a pattern two days ago to make my boys some pj's for christmas. i'm thinking i may just try the pants though...not sure i'm confident enough yet to try a shirt too. i've got a ton of flannel here that NEEDS to be pj's...and a gaggle of boys who NEED pjs...so...

for christmas i'm making them jammies

you did a really great job! fleece is such a fun fabric to sew and makes the coziest things!!
