Christmas is comin' early!

Thanks to my dh, I won an embroidery machine on ebay...I am so excited and can't wait to get it here!! But now I am wondering what else I need to get so I can be all ready to learn how this works...thread and stabilizer? It comes with the software and card reader/writer. It is a Singer XL1000 that was only used 2 hours since purchase.

How fun!!

I have an embroidery machine and my favorite stabilizer is the perforated kind that comes in rolls on the joanns notions wall. I also love gutterman thread. It happens to be on sale for half off this weekend at JA too. I do use mettler a lot too, but it is hard to find around here. When I first got my machine, I got a starter kit off ebay too that came with thread and stabilizer. It was a good way to start out.
