Well So far I have 3 pairs of Sherpa Leggings made, But I broke my Serger Needle plate once again and I am not sure it's fixable this time So I may have to do the rest of my sewing on my regular sewing machine. I have a caplet started for a friends DD. Then I have 2 more pairs of leggings to make (These are fleece), two sweat shirts and 2 dresses. I have lots of other things to get done, but this is what I need to get done by Friday. I think I am going to head to Sears in the New Year and look into a new Serger. My Simplicity had been nothing but a PITB when it comes to needle plates

a lap quilt for a gift.. and I am going to attempt my first ever clothing project - I'm just going to make a strippy skirt attatchment for a teeshirt for Lindsey. Figure that's easy enough, right?

I need to learn to make a bag, seriously. Haven't gotten that far yet.. and probably won't until we get past the holidays. I told Eric I wanted a new diaper bag for Christmas, but it couldn't look like a diaper bag and I needed to be able to use it as a purse later on. He rolled his eyes at me, so I'm guessing he's not buying me one - LOL

I have to make Iven's birthday shirt then work on the boys Christmas Pajamas. I'm not going to attempt anything else since I have to do a big cleaning of the house for the party Saturday.

Today I have Hooded OV Coveralls on the cutting table now and plans for 3-5 little dog vests for my grandparent's new baby chihuahua. Tonight I have to convert a mens sport coat to a double breasted coat. By Friday I have 5 hemp T-shirts and 1 Ren Dress, a cotton french terry bathrobe, and hopefully some PJs for my kids Christmas.

Happy Sewing Everyone

I've replaced the plate 4 times and have given up. I really like the Kenmore warenty and servicing plan so when and if I can afford one, that's what I am going to purches. The Simplicity I have can't even handle 2 layers of sherpa properly and 3 layers of hemp fleece is almost inposable. It was cheep and o.k to learn on, but it's definitly time to move on.

My sister and parents took my youngest with them for the day. So with the other two at school I actually had the day to myself. I spent it holed up in the sewing room.

So today I made:
1 xl pair of adult flannel lounge pants for a gift
1 pair of 2t jeans for Andrew
2 pairs of size 6 kids flannel lounge pants (for someone else's DS)
1 pair size 5 kids flannel lounge pants (for Nicholas's school xmas exchage partner)
1 pair size 6 kids jeans (for someone else's DS)

Still need to cut out and sew up:
1 pair of size 6 kids reversible pants (for someone else's DS)
1 pair of size small adult flannel lounge pants (for another someone else's DS)
1 pair of size 5 kids camo flannel lounge pants (for Nicholas he's begging for camo ones)
2 pairs of xxl adult boxers for my brother for xmas
fabric gift bags
kids xmas Bob the Builder outfits
3 pairs of flannel lounge pants in construction print for my boys
2 eraser/marker caddys for the boys teachers
1 pair of 3t camo flannel lounge pants (part of a gift)

I'm still adding to my "to do list" ... it's never ending! Thats just the stuff I want/need to get done in the next couple days.

I sure wish I was doing more, but I'm just finishing swap items. My serger was attacked by Hurricane Melissa and the thread holder was broken. I took it in before my surgery but it's still in the shop ;( Plus I can only sit up for a few hours at a time so I'm not doing too much.

I am finishing swap items. I'm making keyboard wrist rests out of my Munki, Sock Monkey and AH Mother's day like these and filling them with rice, fresh lavender and Jasmine:

I have some things in mind but not sure if I'll get to them.

I'm going to repair everything that needs to be repaired in the house (and that's a lot, I was out of sewing machine for a few loooong months, lol)

Then I'm going to shorten some new jeans for dh

Then I'll make a few pairs of pants for Vidura, I'm getting frustrated with RTW (he wears 4/5T in the waist and 2/3T lenght, he has short legs like Daddy, hehe) So it's going to be two reversible wooven/flannel, one twill lined with microfleece and one MM fleece rabbit print with matching hat and mittens.

After I'm done with all that I'll make a new outfit for my Deities and curtains for my altar, I have this lovely deep purple velvet that's been sitting here waiting to be used.

If I'm done with all that before end of the week I'll start Vidura's poncho

That's it for the week

For this week:

2 chinese take out boxes

and start on Christmas pj's.

Don't think I'll have time for more...unless we get the 4-6 inches of snow forecasted for tomorrow! Then I'll have plenty of time to sew!

A patchwork strippy skirt for me
Doll diaper, changing pad, wipes, diaper bag sets for dd and my niece
Two pairs corduroy pants for ds
Lined drawstring bags to hold wooden people for ds and my niece
Tote bag for my SIL

I'd just be happy to finish the skirt this week and everything else by Christmas.
