What kind did you have before?
Someone loves me and is gettingme an Iris that's a combo machine. Made by Viking, it is now discontinued and replaced by the Scandanavia 300. Correct me if I'm wrong Viking mamas. What I really wanted though was the New Ellure or the Ellageo both made by Babylock.

Oh well what's your price range?

My price range can't go that high, and it doesn't have to be a combo machine (i.e. sewing & embroidery) but I'd like to be able to do a variety of graphics and fonts for my children's clothing line that I make.

I totallyunderstand which is why I asked. I got the Iris used for $499. I couldn't afford the Babylock machines either. I will whine about it every few months though until my husband finally gives in LOL! The White 3300 or 4400 is a good machine I've heard.

I have a White 3300. I got it for 369.00 on sale a year or so ago....with the ultimate box and embird the possibilities are endless EXCEPT my field is only 4 x 4! lol ...

Then again I haven't had to embroider anything too large yet.

So far it's been wonderful!

My field is also 4x4 which is a bummer. But I figured it's my first so it'll be a learning machine. I can trade up if/when I feel the need to

I have the white 3300, and so far I love it! (ok...the field could be bigger, but overall I'm very happy)! I also have the ultimate box!

I also have the Iris by viking and I love mine too. It doesn't bother me that the field is only 4x4 because I only wanted it to add those little touches here and there.
