Iven's Halloween Costume

It started out that I wanted Iven to be Ivan from Foster Home For Imaginary Friends. He wanted to be Beast Boy from the Teen Titans. They don't make those costumes that small though so I was going to make them. However it turns out that Tom's check was shorted so we had to do with what I already had. He loves to run around and say Roar so I figured he'd like a dinosaur/monster.

This was actually dyeing to be Oren's dragonfly costume when Iven got a hold of my dyes and dumped a full thing of Cerulean Blue and a full thing of Cayman Isle Green on the fabric. I was hoping since I had already put the soda ash in it that it would wash out but I guess since it was straight dye it was strong enough to actually dye it. So there were these big blue splotches on it. There are interesting green splotches too but they aren't as noticable.
I figured I better make the most of it and did the best I could.

The tail is attatched to a belt like thing because I didn't want to sew it to the pants. I figured he can use the pants for pajamas after Halloween and they can use the head piece and tail for dress up.

I'm pretty happy with it considering while I was making it I thought it was going to look totally stupid. I think I need to do a little work on the tail still though.
