What are you best at?

Are you a whizz at finding fun fabrics?
Matching colours?
Drafting your own patterns?
Trying something new?
Lettuce edging?
Sewing knits?
Using up stash?
Encouraging others?
Hand sewing?

Let's make a list of what we are good at. That way we also have a list of who to ask questions of.

I'm good at drafting simple patterns and trying something new.

I'm pretty good at buying stuff!

Let's see, I'd say I'm good at sewing diapers.

i am pretty good at buying. but i was surprised when i went fabric shopping with barb b/c she noticed fabrics i wouldn't have that turned out to be great for me.

i think i am pretty good at t-shirt necklines and knit binding. and i feel pretty comfortable working with knits in general.

i get very intimidated by new things, but once i get past that, i always have fun with them and so far haven't been stumped by one.

eta: i'm pretty good at diapers, too. i got my machine specifically to make diapers and really set my mind to it. and the payoff was nice. milo has four new diapers this week, in fact. it's been quite a while since i made any and he really needs new ones so they were a lot of fun to whip up.

Procrastinating.

Umm lets see, I can make a mean skirt in a jiffy, and I'm really good at putting a smile on my kids' faces when I make them something.

I'm good at finding a deal since I'm so thrifty.

I wouldn't by any means call myself an expert at any sewing things, but I try really hard!

I think I am good at encouraging people or at least try to be. I make an effort to answer as many posts as possible.

I am good at drafting boys and mama patterns.

I am pretty comfortable with knits in general, but don't ask me about lettuce edging, haven't tried it yet. lol

I have done lots of things with the embroidery machine and think I can answer questions there and I am getting good at applique.

Recycling! I make a lot of things out of other clothes, sheets, towels, etc. If it's fabric, I can make something out of it...
I make a lot of Powwow Regalia, and people seem to like it. I guess I am good at that, too.
I suck at knowing about fabrics - names and fiber contents and all of that. I buy most of mine at the thrift store. Maybe I am good at bargains? Which takes me back to recycling!

I'm pretty good at gathering and having it look good inside and out (only took me 2 years, LOL)

I'm REALLY good at talking about sewing, I do this a ton more than I sew

I've also gotten alot better at altering patterns for Emma, I'm still not so good at altering for me.

I *know* I answered this once, but I don't see it here. I'm good at making purses, that's what's been my play money (and sometimes necessary money) for a while.
