SnS strippy, spinny skirt for joy
6 graduated strips of 3 colours of quilters cotton
sewed and then zigzagged to help prevent freying
organic elastic and crocheted hemp drawstring waist
waist goes from 30inches to 40inches fully stretched
length is 40 inches right now
95 inch full spin
its not hemmed yet, waiting to hear if joy likes it and if she wants a traditional hem or for it to be freyed
Care to share tips on drawstrings holes? I don't like the one way most of my drawstring holes look and have been brainstorming to find something better, but coming up blank. (Big shock!)

i dotn do drawstring holes, i leave a gap between the folded waistband (like how it says in the strippy skirt faq)
i know most people use buttonholes for drawstring holes, i dont have that on my sewing machine though LOL
I use large eyelets because I can't stand button holes!

Okay, can't wrap my mind around that. LOL I'll have to see if I can find it in pictures on-line.
Button holes I can do. That's basically what I originally tried, but the holes got way too big...then I tried eyelets and those do work decently as long as there's another layer of cloth or the teeth won't grip one layer well enough.
