What about Burda WOF? Worth the money? Burda Kids?

On the heels of the Ottobre thread...

I already love Ottobre and I'm so glad I subscribed. Now I'm wondering if I should subscribe to Burda WOF for mama stuff. I've already bought a few issues from twisletops on ebay, and I know it would be way cheaper if I were subscribing instead. Also, what about the Burda Kids mags? They look really cute. But I don't recall reading much about them from you sewing mamas. Do any of you subscribe (or buy them when they come out)?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on Burda WOF and Burda Kids mags.

Burda Kids will soon be no more, at least in English, and I need the English for that one.

I do have Burda WOF. I love looking at it for Mama patterns. Some are way too far out there and too sexy/done up for me, but they have some great shirt patterns that make it worth it.

I subscribed to Burda Kids and it was okay. Not nearly as good as Ottobre, imo. I'm not going to renew in another language.

I get Burda WOF too. The patterns are okay. Most are too trendy for my taste (many of the recent issues have had lots of the 80s-type stuff that's coming back in style) but there are enough to make it worth the cost. I subscribed for one year but won't renew right away because it comes out monthly and I have 12 (or had 12 before I sold a few) issues of mama patterns - more than I'll ever need, lol.
