little OT - MRI today for me...

This weekend my right foot started hurting really bad on top. Couldn't put pressure on it, couldn't bend my toes, etc without the top of my foot screaming in pain. So I went to the doctor on Monday and she had me go to the hospital for an xray, thinking it could be a stress fracture or something. She really checked out my foot, but couldn't feel anything 'in' it. So, the results came back yesterday and there is something *IN* my foot. I have an MRI scheduled for this afternoon to get a better look and see what we need to do.

I don't know if you remember, but I fell down a set of stairs at the beginning of May and really hurt myself. I didn't get any medical attention, evewn though I probably hsould have gone to the ER. I broke my big toe on my left foot, I did some bad scraping to my shins, had bruises all over my body, and I had a concussion and a HUGE lump on the back of my head. Anyway... I am wonderig if maybe when I did that I may have chipped a bone or something.

We are also having insurance trouble. They never got my paperwork transferring me to another region - and I sent it out over a month ago. Also, I faxed it to them last night, and they just told my doctor's office again that I am not in the system. sigh.... Off to make more phone calls.

urgh. I hope it all works out ok: foot, insurance, etc. I have a 50 dollar insurance claim I have been battling for umm 6 months now. By the time you account for the number of hours I have spent it on it will be about 500 dollars. YUCK.

and to lighten things up: how can you sew without your right foot? Does everyone sew with their right foot or just right-handed people?
