Wanna hear something funny?

I got the black floral stretch fabric from the "co-op" that Gabe, Gavin, Gwen did today. Love the fabric, absolutely beautiful!

So tonight I decided I would make myself a skirt and top out of some of the fabric. I decided to take a skirt that I knew fit me and make the pattern off of that (what I normally do since the big 3 just don't fit me right). I went to pull out a skirt I bought last weekend that I adored. Bring it to the kitchen and realize they are the exact same fabric! *snort*

SO saved myself a step...just need to make a shirt to match now!

And I only paid $1 for the skirt at a yard sale so the entire outfit won't cost me much at all. Now to figure out exactly how to make the shirt that I have in my mind. (Kind of boat neck maybe, 1/2 sleeves slightly flared at the bottom, slightly flared bottom of shirt...we shall see. )

Nothing like that to make you realize that, yes, you have the same taste as yourself Nice way to skip the sewing portion of that skirt!

Omg, that is funny! How cool that you got it for $1 at a yard sale too - wow! Can't wait to see the whole outfit.
