how can I fix a dye job gone bad?

Oh dear. It's too dark to overdye. I tried LWI with dark purple and chartreuse and it turned out dark reddish with some army green=yuck. Would bleaching it take out enough color for me to try again?

thanks,
Vicki

I would try that, Carbona also makes a dye remover (it does bleach any print you have though) or just plain olde bleach soak.

oh, do you really think bleach would be ok? What dilution percentage (can't think of a better phrasing) should I use? I was gonna maybe go get the RIT dye remover b/c I found a dye website that said it's a good product but I actually have bleach in the house.... Oh, and it's just plain fabric, no print so no worries there.
