My neighbor brought his uniform pants over for me to hem for him. I've never done a blind hem before but I have that option on my machine. Before I attempt this, does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

After a few frustrating attempts, I discovered that my machine has a little guide to add to the presser arm to help with blind hems. I'd see if your machine has one before you start.

Other than that, I just fiddle with it until I figured out how to fold the hem right to make it all work.

yes, practice on scraps

once you do it a while, you'll see what small amount of fabric you need to catch

too much and you'll see the threads, too little and it won't catch the fabric.

it's not difficult at all, just know you'll have to practice for awhile first
