Sewing mamas!Calling all AmityMama's who like to sew! Do you make quilts, clothes, diapers, bags? Do you love to run your fingers through fiber? Can't get enough just sewing, but want to talk about it too? Come on in!
I finished the special blanket for Bayus and boy am I tired- this was more work than I expected. 29 mamas graciously sent me their logo labels to include in this blanket. As I went through all the tags I decided that I really wanted to be sure I remembered first names and user names- especially for those whose logos don't include that info, so I started writing on twill tape. Then I started thinking of some of the special mamas that I have had the privilage of knowing here who don't have logo tags or didn't send them for one reason or another, thus began a list. The list grew and grew and grew and.............. after quite a hand cramp I finally had to stop make twill tape tags!
Bayus and I offer a hearty thank you to all who contributed, either by materials, tags, or just the friendship you've shared that brought you to mind.
This is my last sew and show until come October, time to pack up the sewing room.
Thanks for looking mamas!
Sarah

We were having server issues, pic should be back up hopefully.
The blanket is 1yrd square with velvet one one side and batik on the other- both provided by Tara of Urban Fibers. I wanted the fabrics to be the same as the diaper bag I got from Tara, also the batik just reminds me of AW. We used the blanket tonight while at a Fourth of July party and I got to explain the blanket to a lot of people- it got rave reviews
