has anyone ever sewed Kwik Sew #3132 plastic outdoor chair covers?

http://www.kwiksew.com/Patterns/P3126_3148/3132.pdf

In Central FL it's so humid the chairs get mildewy and I ahve to clean them with a scrub brush and diluted bleach water once a month to keep them presentable!

I noticed that the table which I cover with a plastic flannel backed table cloth doesn't get mildewy!

I am thinking about sewing four View A Kwik Sew plastic outdoor chair covers but was wondering if anyone else had done this and could share their experiences?

Other than thread it looks like all I need is 3 3/8 yds if 45" wide or 2 5/8 yds if 60" wide fabric! (I'm hoping they're easy to sew!) (I'll start with dollar fabric first yet I may find something suitable that is $1/yd!)

Sincerely,
Debra
