FINALLY made something I'm pleased with ~ mermaid set w/1 FS ~ arasmama look

I always go overboard with the pictures...sorry. Some of them are blurry too. I made this 4T set for a little girl Sophie's birthday. I made an extra 2T skirt. If anyone's interested in a set I'll go get a 2T shirt and finish it up for $20ppd. Or I could just sell the skirt and a scrap of fabric for you to applique for $10ppd. (pending) Otherwise, I'll just hang on to it for a future birthday .

So as I started this I thought of Allison (arasmama) and decided not to be lazy, filled bobbins with purple and serged it correctly. You proud of me Allison?

I was also excited that now I have so many different colored size tags (thanks Serena!) and the pink/turquoise tags matched nicely. We dyed the fabric at Suzanne's. What color was it again Suz?

Thanks for looking. I apologize for the long post and tons of pictures for such a simple outfit. LOL I don't S&S often so I'm making up for it with this post!

I serged with purple! I usually always do white and just change the left needle.

It's Sulky Orchid Variegated #2121 http://www.redrockthreads.com/sulky-...wtvar/2461.asp I'm thinking the dye was either orchid or amethyst.

How long is the 2T? My 3 year old still wears a lot of 2t in RTW, because she is so petite.

The 2T is just about 11" long and it's roomy.

I'd like it if it is still available. Without the shirt, just the scrap for the applique.

Thanks! Here http://www.me-dezines.com/ & I just asked her for a spool of thread picture. On the back it says "Made by hand in the USA" and has my email address. You can also get labels here http://www.snap-happy.net/luscious/i...f0cf2b9c1b6cd2 .

I'm not a fan of the mermaid prr but that's really cute! Glad my girls aren't peeking over my shoulder or they'd need "Ariels" too
