Need opinions...

We're moving into a new apartment in a week or two, and it just occurred to me that I haven't decided what to do with the bedrooms. It's a 2br, and I had thought that I'd put the boys together in the smaller bedroom, and I'd take the larger one, and have my sewing area in there as well. (And fyi in case you didn't know, I'm a single mom, it's just me and the boys) I'd rather have my sewing area out in the living/dining room, but there's not going to be enough space for it there. But now I'm wondering, would it be weird if I put up the boys' bunkbeds and my own bed in the bigger bedroom, and made the smaller bedroom the sewing/playroom? I'm not intending to live in this apartment for more than the year-long lease, but once the stuff is in, I don't want to have to be moving and rearranging the furniture a lot. And the bunkbeds are on order right now, so wherever they're going to "live", that's where they will be assembled, so I have to decide in the next few days.

Any thoughts on the scenario? TIA!

Well if it where me I would but the boys in one room and make the other my room. My kids are to touchy feely when it comes to my machines and stuff, lol. I like my sewing stuff to be away from them. But you can also sew while they play if it is in the same rooms. I sew in the living room on my computer desk so I am not much help, lol. I hope to have a sewing room soon. I know bunk beds take up alot of room for my oldest has one so having another room for play would come in handy. Dh thinks we should do that this next move but my dd's are to far in age and there toys and likes are way different. Jess has helped herself to her sisters older girls toys way to much ( glue, nail polish) so who knows what I am going to do. Jess don't sleep in her own bed anyways she sleeps on the bottom bunk.

I might do the sewing room in her room and just put her toys in the living room since that is where she plays anyways. Well any wo I am rambling today sory to take over the post, lol.
