S~n~S simple postpartum skirt

I left the elastic out of the waist so I can put in as much as I need. It's stretch poplin. I topstitched in black before I put the transfer on, and I was thinking the speckles on the flowers were black, but there's really no black at all in the transfer, so I'm trying to decide if I should take out the topstitching and just use pink or white. I had planned a black top and black sandals to go with it.

That is so pretty! I sure wish I had something like that when I was post partum -- would have perked me up a little

I think the top stitching looks fine with it, esp if you are going to wear a black top.
Very pretty skirt!

I like it just like it is.. If it reallly bothers you then take a perm. marker and color just a tiny bit of black on the lil middles of the flowers. Honestly I would just wear it like it is and you will be beautiful..

That is cute! It will make you feel good about your postpartum body! I think the topstitching is fine if you're going to wear a black top.

What a pretty post partum gift for you.
It's going to be lovely on. I like the black top stitching. I really doubt anyone will notice but you, that the flowers don't have black y/k?

You are sewing a lot now.

Thanks. I'll have to see what it looks like w/ the black top and shoes, maybe that will help pull it all together in my head. If not, I'll add some sharpie dots! Great idea!

Suz, I'm going to wear it to meet you in VT.
