Ever heard of Gemsy coverstitch machines?

there are several on Ebay for under $200 new! SO, I figure they must not work well at all.. but thought I would ask if anyone has heard anything, bought one, etc...

Yep don't waste your money. Jodi (twingrins) bought one a few months ago, it doesn't work right, and now is just a big heavy doorstopper.

I had one. They work but they aren't pretty. They are crude machines. They get the job done but you need some patience. There's no light or frills AT ALL. It really should work though, it's not THAT bad. It's *just enough* to get the job done, nothing more.

Are these the ones that don't have differential feed? I remember looking at some on ebay a long time ago and realized they didn't have that. And I'd think it would be tough to coverstitch stretchy knits without it.
