Does this sound right to you? (re:sz 6 pj's)

I took a chance and bought a Simplicity pj's pattern for 99 cents instead of buying the KS (which I know is right size-wise). Anyway, I measure the pants for the sz 6 Simp. and they look huge! Does this length sound about right to you--28 inches long (after taking out hem and casing measurements?)

Sounds about right to me. Quintin wears a size 6 ~ I just measured him from his waist to the floor, it is at 28 1/2". He is on the tall but skinny side. I always add a little length to his pants, so 28" should be o.k.

HTH!

I just went and measured 2 pairs of Alicia's pj pants for you.

She wears a size 6. One pair is 25.5 inches long and the other is 26 inches long. I think Simplicity runs a little long, but the rest of the pattern is usually o.k. when I use their patterns for my kids. Maybe just take an inch or 2 off the length.

FTR...I'm not terribly impressed with KS sizing. If I make the smallest size in KSFC (which is supposed to be a 4) it is too big for her. Just too big and boxy...
