Babylock CS problems...

I couldn't get my coverstitch to look right on the backside tonight. Spent alot of tonight adjusting tensions and rethreading over and over GRRR. So anyways, I searched here and found this post:

Finally I pulled the looper thread out of the tension disc and just made it going by it. That worked. I don't get it. Should I have just turned the tension down to 0 or 1 (I hadn't gone nearly that low!). And now that I think about it, it looked all crazy b/c it was pulling the needle threads to the back.

Anyways, just trying to understand my new baby... beast?.... baby LOL
