Whats this?! A sew and show from me :) Fun with silk

I made the silk/flannel blankets I've been working on for a while. I'm really happy with how these turned out. The dye jobs I've shown before but the edge finishing is what I'm excited about today. I pulled the silk to the backside and mitered the corners- its so nice

Hoping to start on the pile o' summer Tshirts tonight

Sarah

oooh! that looks great!

i bought a gorgeous piece of hand-dyed silk from a mama here a while back and i've been meaning to make a throw for milo's bed (which he doesn't have yet and probably won't for quite a while), but not sure how to tackle it. so, i'm so happy i saw yours...

Very pretty, I'm really loving those bright colors this summer

And you seem sooo calm (like I can tell from your posts ) for someone with a brand-new baby and a big move coming up!

Pretty

When are you leaving for Spain? I *may* be going up to Seattle for 2 days this month. Maybe I could see you.
