Milkmaid/Laura made this, and I couldn't resist buying it when no one else did! I'm SOOO glad I did! It's absolutely beautiful, and we got TONS of compliments on it at church this morning. Here's a link to her post with close-ups of the smocking - dress

It's beautiful! I have a dress she did for us and it always gets a TON of compliments!

I loved the purple top and pants a while ago and if my girl was littler I totally would have snatched it up!

Oh Allison, your post absolutely MADE my day. Alannah is just a beautiful doll, and I am so happy you like the dress. It was a labor of love to make it!

I'm knee deep in dance sewing--I have 24 dresses to make before Thursday, and the fabric was JUST SHIPPED from NY on Friday. I don't know how I'm going to get it all done, but I guess it'll happen. Your post really helped me to remember that sometimes I do get to sew for people who really appreciate it (vs. sewing for dance parents that always think I could have done something better).

Thank you again. Sometimes God knows when you need a little "pick me up." You did that for me today!

OH that is beautiful and Alannah looks gorgeous modeling it. I can see how you got soo many comments! Great job Laura...and WHEW I am rooting for you girl...go go go. Sew your butt off lady!! WOW that is a lot of sewing!! Are you going to SNS them? I would love to see
