Sewing mamas!Calling all AmityMama's who like to sew! Do you make quilts, clothes, diapers, bags? Do you love to run your fingers through fiber? Can't get enough just sewing, but want to talk about it too? Come on in!
Finally I made dh feel guilty enough so he bought me a new Fuji 5500 dig. Cam.
And at the same time I finished dd's quilt!
I started taking quilting lessons and I love it.
The pattern is “storm at sea” but I call it mommy’s heart

There is so much time and love that goes into quilting. I admire mamas like yourself who can sew so precisely and persevere through a whole bedsize quilt - wow!
Hurray for you on the digital camera, too! Pics can never show the quilting well though - did you use free motion, stitching in the ditch, or something else? I like your fabric choices too!

WOW!!! That's gorgous! Do you want to finish the one I started 9 years ago?? It was suppose to be a baby blanket for my oldest dd with matching bumper pads for the crib. Needless to say she never slept in the crib - except afternoon naptime - and the quilt never got done.
That quilt is beautiful! Stunning work. I love how you made the heart, you can't really see the heart motif in the rest of the quilt but it's so clever how you made it in red and it just pops out. Wow!
