teeth Fat Quarter madness

I help run a fabric coop and I have a supplier that sells certain lines and does fat quarter cut packages of a particular "line/design". They include 75 fat quarters at a really great price. Random 75 pieces but you choose the "line" and "theme" from which you want them to come from...

Anyhow, I was wondering if any of you guys use fat quarters for anything? I dont want to get a bunch and not have any use for them. I was thinking of sewing 4 quarters together into a rectangle and then folding into quarters cutting at the point a circular and making a twirly skirt of sorts, KWIM?

Ok, any other suggestions?!?!

I'd be interested if the price is right and the print is something I'd use.

www.groups.yahoo.com/group/Diaperfabricscoop is the group.

The following are ones I was eyeing:

Hoffman Handpainted Batiks
Hoffman Giggles & Fun
Robert Kaufman Little Darlings
Robert Kaufman Once upon a fairy
Robert Kaufman Still Crazy for Daisy
Michael Miller Fairy Frost or Krystals
Timeless Treasures Gelato
South Sea Imports Select Basics
SSI Green Giller
SSI Debbie Mumm Basics
SSI Garden Folklore
SSI Debbie Mumm Medleys of her smaller prints.
baum Textiles Vintage Prints (they dont have a pic of these but I LOVE Vintage prints)

There are more, those are the ones that I have been looking at... I see this turning into a LARGE order, LOL!! I cant decide which ones.

But my real question, is what do YOU do with fat quarters? are there fat quarter CLOTHES sewing patterns?!?!?

There are lots of things you could do with fat quarters! There are patterns you can use, if you go to some of the quilting sites you can find bag patterns, jacket patterns and quilt patterns. You can cut them up to make simple baby quilts. A great book series are the Quilts for Baby by Ursula Reikes, super easy and really nice quilts. I started quilting with these books years ago and love them. Also, patchwork clothing. The girls here do some really nice S&S with patchwork.

You can make a bunch of starleight headbands too

I'd be interested in a set or two of this, depending on price.

They are anywhere from 1.25 to 1.75 a quarter.

There are 15 DIFFERENT patterns per assortment and you get FIVE of each. ONly bad thing is I wont know until I get them here and pay which patterns from the collection I will get.

I was looking at the wrong page... some of those are only available in their "short cuts" packages that include 50 yards. 10 different patterns, 5 yards each at between $5 to $6 a yard.... BUMMER! I was really wanting the little darlings but I dont need a 50 yard collection of that either! I can buy it by the bolt but I just finished a Michael miller and Timeless Treasures coop and I am tired of cutting bolts. I was looking forward to just having to separate fat quarters.. LOL!!

The ones that DO come in a fat quarter package:
Hoffman Handpainted Batiks
Robert Kaufman Still Crazy for Daisy
Michael Miller Fairy Frost or Krystals
Timeless Treasures Gelato
SSI Debbie Mumm Medleys of her smaller prints.
