I blew my SIL off last night, wanna see?

I needed a creative outlet, so I made this instead. Now, I've got that out of my system, I can go back and finish her purse.
There are two new baby girls in my Sunday School group, so this will go to a good home. I can't remember who I got this from, but I used it all! It was in a box with some blue dragonflies knit.

And I finally made something for myself. These were a pajama pants pattern that I altered to make capris. Dh says they're clown pants. (I really don't care!) I never make anything for myself. This is *SO* not a flattering picture.

Nice work, Gail! Your FOE looks wonderful and I love the fabric for the capris. Who cares what DH says? Most men don't understand DIDDLEY when it comes to sewing. LOL

Oh Gail, that baby set is just Some lucky baby will have one happy mama!

Your pants look great too. Sometimes you just have to sew something for yourself - it's hard always giving away all your hard work I like the fabric.

Thanks, I'm proud of them! (DH has been known to say things just to annoy me. I can't imagine any man doing such a thing! (I hope you girls don't choke.)

I was surprised at how easy they both were. They were a snap to put together. (If I'd tried it a year ago, I might not be saying the same thing.)

I bought it from Sewzanne's. It's a New Conceptions pattern.

Hey, that gown set is from last week's challenge fabric! You should add it to the thread! I think they look great, the baby outfit and the pants both. Doesn't it feel great to wear something you made?

Cute gowns!
I think the pants look great. Very pretty fabric. Just stick your tongue out at dh and say in a sarcastic voice, "Where have you been? Clown pants are IN!"

Those are NOT clown pants! I think they're cute and summery.

What a sweet baby gown, too.
