Somewhat OT: great kids book reccomendation and this weeks preschool activity~!
The kids found this book at the library and have checked it out several times. Its super cute and informational about the process of wool from sheep to sweater as well as having great illustrations and a fun style of writing. ITs called 'Farmer Brown Shears His Sheep, A Yarn about Wool' by Teri Sloat
I found some stashed wool roving with my stuff and so began this weeks 'unit study' for preschool
The kids loved this project and inspecting the wool as we worked with it while re-reading the book and determining which stage our roving was in the book. If you've read this book you'll know why we were singing 'dip, dye, drip, dry' while we worked
